The importance of celebrating and commemorating life in its various stages is as old as human existence.
I have been working as a celebrant for over 20 years marking significant events across the spectrum of life's stages. These encompass naming ceremonies, marriages and funerals and a multitude of individualised commemorations.
My vision is to bring warmth & kindness, attentive listening, humour when required and a clear understanding of the components of co-creating and crafting a ceremony that reflects the values and ethics of a changing and diverse world.
In essence my work as your Celebrant is largely as your storyteller.
Choosing the right celebrant for you is essential. From our initial meeting, you can feel confident I can bring to your event or gathering what is authentic, meaningful and important to you, your family and community.

I am in my element working with the diversity of our human family, especially with the LGBT, Tibetan, indigenous and refugee communities.
Having had the privilege to travel throughout the world, I feel fortunate to have encountered Buddhist and Indigenous teachers who have enriched my life, deepened my interest in humanity and the living planet and influenced my world view and practice.
Fees
In my experience 8-15 hours are required to consult with you to craft, co-create and deliver the highest quality ceremony. I will have a much clearer sense of my fees when these components are discussed in our first phone call.
As a guide my sliding scale is $650 – $1250

Time exceeding 15 hours is charged at $50 per hour.

Additional travel expenses maybe required according to the ceremony location.

Testimonials
With an intuitive sense of ritual, Elyjah exhibits incredible warmth and compassion as a human being, and this is only exemplified further in his role as civil marriage celebrant. I recommend him both as a person and a celebrant without reservation.
Much love

Elyjah supported us with the planning and development of our ceremony by offering his advice around what would work well both practically and energetically whilst also encouraging us to take ownership of the ceremony. He approached his role as celebrant with humility, engaging our guests with his loving presence and holding a sacred space for us to perform our ceremony.
